ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE!

At The Beauty Doctrine Reviews, we are rewriting the standards of what it means for a product to be truly safe.

For decades, the beauty industry has equated “non-toxic” with “good for you.” But as we’ve learned through both science and lived experience, that’s only part of the truth. A product can be free of obvious toxins, yet still erode your skin barrier, disrupt your hormones, or cause sensitivity that accelerates aging over time.

Our founder, Nadia Benchakroun, brings nearly three decades of experience in the global beauty industry, along with a deeply personal journey of healing from skin conditions caused by conventional skincare. This perspective shaped our philosophy: safety is the baseline — compatibility with human skin is the true measure.

We evaluate every formula through the lens of Functional Beauty — a science-backed approach that considers your skin’s biology, barrier integrity, microbiome, and long-term resilience. While other review platforms focus solely on toxicity, our reviews integrate six dimensions: sensitivity potential, carcinogens, hormonal disruptors, allergens, other considerations (sustainability, device safety, environmental impact), and beneficial ingredients.

Our mission is simple: to give you clarity in an industry built on confusion. Whether you’re searching for a safe sunscreen, a serum that won’t trigger irritation, or a supplement that aligns with whole-body health, you’ll find reviews that put your well-being first.

Because safe isn’t the same as skin-safe. Let’s out ‘CARE’ back into skincare!

Our Standards

At The Beauty Doctrine Reviews, we believe that beauty is not just about how products make you look today,  but how they shape your skin, your health, and your confidence for years to come.

Most rating systems stop at toxicity. But we’ve learned through decades of experience that being “non-toxic” isn’t enough. A cream might pass a safety check, yet still quietly erode your skin barrier, trigger inflammation, or interfere with your hormones. That’s why our reviews go deeper.

We created these standards for one reason: because we care. We care about the woman with sensitive skin who has tried everything and still feels defeated. We care about the man worried that his daily sunscreen might be doing more harm than good. We care about the long game — your lifelong skin health, your vitality, and your ability to feel at home in your own skin.
